Billing questions
- How am I billed?
- You start with a 7-day free trial. We collect a card when you sign up but charge nothing during the trial. When it ends, your first month is billed automatically, and the subscription then renews once per month until you cancel. Payments run through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes — every workspace starts with 7 days free. You enter a card when you create the workspace so your crews can start right away, but you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel from the Account page any time before then and you are not billed at all.
- Can I cancel whenever I want?
- Yes, from the Account page in your workspace, with no cancellation fee and no notice period. Your access continues to the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Do you give refunds?
- We do not refund partial periods. Because cancelling leaves your access running until the end of the month you paid for, you get the full period you were charged for. If you think you have been charged in error, email support@fieldproofsafety.com and we will look into it.
- What happens to my JSAs if I stop paying?
- Access to the app ends when the subscription does, but for 30 days afterwards you can email support@fieldproofsafety.com and we will send you a full export of your records. After that we may delete them. The safest habit is to download what you need before you cancel, because a JSA can be asked for years later during an incident investigation.
- What if my card fails?
- We keep your access open for a short period while Stripe retries the payment, so a declined card does not lock your crews out mid-job. If it keeps failing, access is suspended until the subscription is brought current.
- Is there a limit on how many people I can add?
- No. The price covers your whole company, however many crew members, supervisors, and office staff you invite. You are never charged more for adding a worker.
- Can I try it before paying?
- Two ways. The interactive demo needs no signup and no card — it runs on sample data that resets when you refresh, so you can click through the whole product first. When you are ready to use it for real, every new workspace starts with a 7-day free trial, so you can run your own JSAs before the first charge.
